Hi Allison, I have to admit that this work is that I understand very little anyway, is always an adventure to watch your creations, I say adventure, in a sense of "discovery" It is not bad that the viewer does not understand the work, no, from my point of view, increases the desire to keep watching. Very good job, congratulations!
Glad you enjoyed it! I know that this isn't the most linear of images. I have another version that is more straightforward; but I chose this one simply because I preferred the arrangement of colours and shapes.
The subject is bounce, and the dictionary definition says that it comes from a word meaning thump. It also means to spring forward, or leap. There is a rabbit in the movie Bambi, called Thumper. There are two rabbits in my image, and the one at the top is bounding off the page. The eggs are loosely connected to the Easter bunny.
This is my posting for the Illustration Friday theme, Noise. Night comes early in late autumn - and sounds carry and are magnified. The remaining crickets are only faintly audible - but the sound of the flapping of a bird's wings is easier to hear. After a long bout of studying and caffeine intake, the imagination races as creatures of myth and fiction come to mind.
